Our next moment was sent in by Art & Soul. They tell us about their moment…
“Art & Soul is an art and support group based in Heywood, Rochdale. The group is managed by Cartwheel Arts, as part of their Art for Wellbeing programme, delivering creative and development projects with adults with mental health experiences.

When populated, each member of the group will have their own page where you will be able to find out more about their artwork and creative inspirations, why they find the group helps their wellbeing and view some images of their artwork.
Art & Soul currently has 15 members who meet weekly, working on visual arts based projects. The group is led by the Art for Wellbeing practitioner team, Emotional Support Worker Stacey Coughlin supports members and a rotating team of Cartwheel Arts, Art for Wellbeing Artists lead the creative delivery.

One participant commented:
“At Art & Soul, It’s a nice, warm friendly atmosphere and its nice to be able to talk about our mental health with people who understand. I like the peer support between us all and it makes a change from talking to medical professionals about our wellbeing.”
A big thank you to Art & Soul for sending us their moment!
