“Art & Soul is an art and support group based in Heywood, Rochdale. The group is managed by Cartwheel Arts, as part of their Art for Wellbeing programme, delivering creative and development projects with adults with mental health experiences.
Art & Souls ‘moment’ takes place at the regular weekly group, we will be setting up a blog to mark the moment. When populated, each member of the group will have their own page where you will be able to find out more about their artwork and creative inspirations, why they find the group helps their wellbeing and view some images of their artwork.

Art & Soul currently has 15 members who meet weekly, working on visual arts based projects. The group is led by the Art for Wellbeing practitioner team, Emotional Support Worker Stacey Coughlin supports members and a rotating team of Cartwheel Arts, Art for Wellbeing Artists lead the creative delivery.
Recent project themes have included, Circus Fairground and Magic, Art inspired by Music and Paint and Portrait. The group members work has been exhibited in Touchstones, Rochdale and community locations such as Heywood Sports Village.
